May 2005 – Tucson, Arizona

Northwest NeuroSpecialists is pleased to announce the addition of Richard V. Chua, M.D. and Roxann Lafferty, P.A.-C as of May 1, 2005. 

Dr. Chua comes to us from Lafayette, Indiana, where he has been practicing Neurosurgery for over seven years.  He is Board Certified and has previously served as Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor for the Indiana University School of Medicine – Lafayette branch.  He provides comprehensive adult neurosurgical care and has special interest in minimally invasive spine surgical procedures and has served as an instructor to other spine surgeons across the country interested in adding these skills to their practices.  Dr. Chua was a member of the neurosurgical team which performed brain tumor surgery on seven-time Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong at Indiana University in 1997. 

Roxann Lafferty, P.A.-C comes to us with 3 years of experience in Neurosurgery after 5 years of work in General Surgery.  She has particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporotic compression fractures of the spine.
