Lynda S. Smith, CEBS, CMPE, HIA

Practice Administrator

Lynda Smith has been the Practice Administrator since the opening of Northwest NeuroSpecialists, PLLC, in 2003. She has over 30 years of management experience in the healthcare industry. For the past 15 years, Lynda has been active in medical practice management in Tucson, Arizona.

Lynda oversees the daily operations of NNS including billing and collections, contracting, financial accounting, compliance, human resources and benefits, purchasing, facility maintenance, and information technology. In addition, she serves as the NNS Privacy Officer under HIPAA.

Lynda is a Certified Medical Practice Executive through the American College of Medical Practice Executives, and is an active member of the Medical Group Managers Association (MGMA), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), and the Neurosurgery Executives Resource Value and Education Society (NERVES). In addition, Lynda is a NextGen EHR/EPM Certified Professional.

Lynda has been featured as a speaker at the Arizona Medical Managers Association (AzMGMA), Arizona Health Information Management Association (AzHIMA), and Arizona NextGen Users Meetings.
